Rivian, the carmaker, showed two new models today. The R2 is a big SUV while the R3 is a smaller, hatchback-looking SUV. Although an SUV, its design is a brave choice for the North American market that usually doesn't show love for hatchbacks, indicating Rivian's potential European plans. And with its strong VW Golf, Fiat Ritmo and Lancia Delta resemblance, it definitely wouldn't look out-of-place on European roads, like Tesla cars are.

@jaredwhite Me too - all the proportions are pleasing, it manages to look modern with the obvious retro influences, but without dipping into nostalgia.
It's a well designed car, I wasn't expecting that from Rivian, this early. Nice!
