Dragon@ente @stux When I first saw the cost for the hosted version I thought hmm that doesn't seem particularly cheap, but now I've read how the data is stored I can see why.
Might have to look into the server further and see if I can configure it to do something like keep one copy local and another remote.

curious though - why is ente auth in the same repo as photos? shouldn't they be separate since they're totally different?
