@holyramenempire I wonder if the end goal is to get this before SCOTUS and get Obergefall v Hodges, Loving v Virginia, or another freedom to marry case overturned, possible due to the makeup of the Supreme Court

@holyramenempire this is where it gets appealed all the way to the Supreme Court, where they rule against the appeal on the grounds that "all cases settled based on substantive due process should be reconsidered" and gay marriage becomes illegal again. 🙄 America is fucking stupid.

@holyramenempire @ppatel OK, so, here’s how to fix that… Let’s see if we can’t get a Muslim judge in Tennessee to stop granting marriage licenses for infidel’s who are not Muslim and shouldn’t have any rights after all. I’d love to see some of these religious freedom things turned on their head like that, and see how their proponents respond.

@holyramenempire This is a good example of legislators who didn't go to law school, just not thinking it through. So a clerk can just object to marriage altogether, as an artifact of the childhood of the human race [i.e. religion], hmmm this presents opportunities [the law of unintended consequences again!] #FreedomfromReligion
