After 7 years with my trusty DX1506 #laptop which even survived a crash on a stone stairway (except for the HDD), it was time for an upgrade.

Yesterday it arrived, my new Aura 15 Gen2. An awesome device made by @tuxedocomputers the same maker as my last device.
It also came with some nice goodies. Love that mousepad. Just missed a pen for the notepads :P

Anyways, looking forward to use this as my main device in addition to my old one ofc. for the coming years.

You haven't been active on Mastodon a lot, have you ? What a shame. You're sharing good stuff.

@coding_hedgehog

I sadly don't have much to share at the moment due to most of my time spent at work, private life and a few things I've shared on another account which is related to other interests.
Still looking forward to getting back into this and sharing things here more often in the future.

@Fireclaw Make more content about Panda3D if you can. It needs more exposure, I believe. I know Unity and Unreal are the mainstream game engines but Panda3D is to reckon with as well. I love the engine. Thank you for all the hard work you've put in. Being a creator ain't easy but it is rewarding.
@coding_hedgehog
I'm still trying to get my modular editor for Panda3D production ready but that is a lot of work for a single person. Especially the things I've last worked on which are the visual code editor and performance enhancement for the UI which requires a big refactoring.
@Fireclaw I would say make time for it only if you're serious about making more videos about Panda3D. If Panda3D is just a hobby for you then it probably isn't worth the time spent but if it's your thing, your niche, then make time for it. Just saying as a distant friend to another.
@coding_hedgehog
I'm usually serious about all my projects and try to finish them someday. It has gotten quite far already. I'm probably not the best at building communities and sharing stuff using videos and such but I'll do my best. What I should do though is probably postpone or remove a few huge features which are not feasible yet and work on stuff that brings fun and make things usable to get my motivation back high again ^^
@Fireclaw Get back up my friend. I'll support you any way I can. It's not a bad idea to work with mentors. Someone you trust. I'm sure you have certain goals with your project(s). Mentor will help you accomplish those goals.
@coding_hedgehog
Thank you very much, you already helped with sparking my motivation by simply talking about it. I guess one way you could actually help is trying out the editor and tell me what you'd need to make it usable on your projects. Because I need some goals to work towards.
