Reminds me of a bar that did this. It was wall Street themed. Of course we talked about it in B school. Lol
Difference there being that the people are in the bar for a while and ordering several drinks and the price is displayed pretty prominently with immediate updates. I’d be a little pissed if I went to Wendy’s and did not know how much I would be spending because too many others were also going.
Also, that bar thing is a fairly common gimmick. The pricing is never outrageously different.
SpaceCowboyAnd it only really works for Uber because people are drunk and don’t have good judgment and people don’t want to be stuck out in the cold when the bar closes.
And by “work” I mean it’s price gouging.
For a place like Wendy’s it makes no sense. Once you know the price fluctuates, you’ll just go somewhere else for some fast food.
