The good news is that very few spams are getting through to infosec.exchange people now. The bad news is that's because I've implemented instance blocks/limits for most of the fediverse.
@jerry
🀞 I have managed to escape scot-free so far. You must be doing an exemplary job back there, behind the scenes!
Good on you, and your team 😻

@jerry
between you and our moderator on mastodon.radio, @M0YNG , I’m not seeing any spam! Thanks!!!
@jerry I would love it for the mods of the @defcon mastodon instance to implement similar blocking/defederation/etc... all this spam does appear to be coming from just a handful of instances which seem like very worthless instances
@jerry awww, I feel honored to still be connected then πŸ€—
I also feel very honored since I just respun my instance about a week ago lmao.

@jerry judging by the comments here, i'm considering migrating to your instance
@jerry Isolation is a bliss. Thanks Jerry 😁
@jerry appreciate the work you are doing, thank you
@jerry I haven’t seen a single spam post, so clearly what you’re doing is effective, even if possibly too effective :D
@jerry we'll miss you
@jmac the good news is that masto.nyc isn't one of the domains sending spam πŸŽ‰β€‹
@jerry Hooray! πŸ—½(All props to tireless @seano.)
@jerry one of the (many) benefits of operating a single-user instance is that I don't have to worry much about this.
@jerry I saw this post so I imagine MN.social is safe but I enjoy following infosec exchange and I've been keeping the instance pretty clear of spam!
@Niximacco I've not seen any issues from mn.social
@jerry I haven't seen a single spam despite seeing many people speaking about it. Great job!
