I love #Mastodon so much. Last night I posted an #introduction on a whim, just to say hello.

I expected to be ignored just like I have been so many times on #twitter (refuse to call the #birdsite "X", ugh).

I woke up to numerous #boost notifications and new followers. Wow.

A place to actually connect.

@IversusAI Yes, Mastodon is not like any other place. It's been like this for a long time and I hope it continues. It's up to us to make it so.

Elmo did us a huge favor by driving his best, brightest, and most interesting people here. This boost in users really lit Mastodon up, but the ethos has remained the same.
