We made a thing that was supposed to be a meme but we worked way too hard on it. You can play it on itch, and the source is on github!

@noelfb I can't wait to see the teams take on 3D platforming! Makes me happy to hear you got carried away, I love that game jam feeling. Hope there's some time for rest now that it's done!
@noelfb That's really cool. And respect for providing the source code
@noelfb Ah, jokes that have been put way too much effort into, the best kind. Thanks!!
@noelfb Tried running it and LOVED what I saw but on Windows it crashed and indicated one of the components was a trojan. Not sure if anyone else experienced that or if Windows is just being overly protective.
@stefistarlite I think it's windows being overly protective - but either way we uploaded a new build using the latest .NET that should hopefully fix it?

@noelfb This is what comes up on both the previously downloaded file as well as the one I did just now. I might see about compiling from the source.

Do you happen to have a checksum for the version you have working? I mainly want to verify against what gets downloaded.

@noelfb Chrome also blocks it for the same reason. I really appreciate the quick response though, thank you!✨
@stefistarlite building from source should be very straight forward if you have .NET 8 installed!
@noelfb Building from source worked just fine. Thanks again for your help! This Madeline model is ADORABLE💖
@noelfb what!? 🎉🎉🎉👍👍
@noelfb thank you! can't wait for Celeste games between 3 and 63 /hj

@noelfb Awesome work releasing the source!

What was trenchbroom like to work with / integrate?

@noelfb Wow, it looks so much like a Pico 64 game. That's not even a real fake console! Somebody tell Lexaloffle.
@noelfb damn someone's gotta port this to work on an actual N64
@noelfb Thanks this is very cool! My kid is happily swearing at some floating spike walls that may be moving or maybe just seem that way because the camera is moving... so you've clearly nailed the "N64 Hard" vibe. He also wants to know if this is a sneaky book announcement? Thanks again!
@noelfb 10/10 you managed to recreate janky controls,
related: this berry took me like 25 minutes, fun!
@noelfb seeing the source I got really curious if... do you folks plan coming back to C# after Earthblade? or nothing planned yet?
@cuca yeah C# is definitely where I want to be these days, especially since NativeAOT seems to work well for consoles.
@noelfb Played through last night. Great work, and thanks to all of you for making that small videogame we love, too!
@noelfb it’s super impressive! and kiddo loves it 👌
