LaurenThemself@GoodAaron Would you accept someone who's just beginning to shed the n00b label, has watched TNG, DS9, and VOY, and is starting on Prodigy now rather than any other series between VOY and now because they adore Bonnie Gordon (she knows; I've been texting her running commentary, mostly screaming).

@GoodAaron As space shows go I actually started out with Red Dwarf and some of the times where a later series Star Trek episode bore similarities to a Red Dwarf episode that had been intended as a parody as something from TOS have made me so delighted. I'm sure it's been done to death online as I am so late to the fandom, but I'm planning to talk about it with my personal #StarTrek fandom elder, @lizbarr, at our local spec fic con #Continuum16 in May!
