This time I really did finish my Bill of Rights book. It is in the hands of my editor, who is now reading it.
I am anticipating a grade of A 😂
(Occasionally I say, "I'm not writing any more books" and my friends laugh.) But my books end up in classrooms and school libraries, and that makes me happy.
Meanwhile, JJ would like the entire neighborhood to know that there is a skateboarder on the loose.
JJ has his work cut out for him.
It's a huge job. I'd suggest he take it one bite at a time.

But editors have other ways of inflicting pain on authors.
Interesting. If a middle school reader is reading at a first grade level, the books written for first graders will be an insult because they are not aimed at readers with their maturity or experience.
I guess that would involve taking my books and adapting them for 8th graders with low reading ability. Right?
I am going to talk to my publisher about converting the Making of America series. So it's called "hi lo"?
I have a few scheduled projects with that publisher, so it would not be soon, but I think the idea is interesting. Hamilton is the first book in the series, and because of the musical it can be easy to get young people started with that one.
