This is more than just about free speech.

It's about stirring up democratic societies, about to sow discontent, controversy, conflicts and division.

It's about distroying our society and #democracy. #China 's long-term goal is to achieve total global power. Erosion and distruction of democracy and western society from inside is one of the early steps towards their goal.

@theseeduneed Could do without the xenophobic paranoia. It's easy to understand their reaction given the oppression they live under. They're afraid.

Can't speak about the UK, but in the US we have plenty of folks known as 1st Amendment auditors. They intentionally provoke these types of interactions. And it isn't foreigners they deal with.

@strawhousepig I can't see any xenophobic paranoia except the one of the CCP towards people of non-autoritarian countries. It is the exact goaal of the CCP to thist their hate against democratic countries into an invented xenophobia on our side. Don't fall for their dirty tricks (as the police woman talking to Brendan Kavanaugh did)!

It doesn't take being Chinese to react the way they did. People in the US think the police can stop you filming in public with a multitude of examples online. No xenophobic paranoid conspiracy theories necessary.

@strawhousepig There's no conspiracy theory, it's a real and well known pattern and not at all new. Tibet people Switzerland (once refugees and their families, friends and business partners) encounter such problems all the time. The bad actors are well identified and operate worldwide. It has nothing to do with regular Chinese.

The bad actors are always #Chinese with diplomat status, which is why the police and government entities in general are so reluctant to put them in their place, that is punish them.

Now things in #London are getting even crazier:
the piano where the incident took place (donated by #Elton John btw.) got now cordoned off.

@theseeduneed All I'm seeing is fear being used to get attention on both "sides". Where these people work is irrelevant. Or is where they work illegal? The fact they are Chinese is irrelevant, or at least should be. What they're doing is equivalent to the classic "I'm an American!" So what?

The piano is probably roped off because it's fairly notorious for the time being and going by what Brendan's mate was telling him in the live video, the tuner says it needs to be treated gentler.

Here's the problem with free speech: They're allowed to promote communist China all they want, just as you are to spread fear and anger about it. Well, in the US we would be, not sure about the UK. Might fall under hate speech.

As far as the original video and the incident therein, again, it doesn't take a CCP party member to be mistaken in that belief about public filming.
