Reconstructing game footage from a Game Boy's memory bus

@DiConX Thank you for the talk! I'm unfortunately not much for soldering and such. Is the GB Interceptor for sale anywhere by you, or someone reputable? I'm slightly suspicious of random AliExpress listings.
@ganonmaster I do not sell it myself, but I have seen many shop listings. No idea which one is particularly reputable, though. Maybe properly linking to the original project is an indicator for diligence...
@DiConX Thank you for your answer! Hope you enjoy the last day of Congress. 😃
GB Interceptor

@gameboyscene @ganonmaster @DiConX @ferrantecrafts Thanks for the pointer. I also ordered (at least) one... I'm not planning to use it for its original purpose. I'd like to repurpose its hardware to prototype another interceptor. (🤓 Lazy embedded software engineer w/o too much hardware design background.)

@gameboyscene @ganonmaster @DiConX @ferrantecrafts They arrived today and both seem to work at least USB-wise. No Gameboy here for testing though.
(I can run the firmware on a plain RP2040 which is also recognized as USB video device, however it does not stream the idle screen. Probably because it's not running the TinyUSB task properly then.)

@maehw @gameboyscene @DiConX @ferrantecrafts I also received mine. So far, I've only tried it in a Zoom meeting with the Game Boy Camera. It's a lot of fun! I want to print a little stand for my Game Boy, so I can permanently mount it on my desk for this purpose. I'll try and dig through some of my hardware to see if I can use it for other interesting things. Thank you all for this cool project!
