@voorstad @mackenzian Because reaching people is important too. As you stated, the important thing is that it is available from multiple sources.

Would you argue that people using Apple devices not being able to hear what was said in this podcast would be a net good?

We have to pick and choose our battles. And use existing infrastructure where it makes sense for the purposes it makes sense for (in this case, disseminating viewpoints folks would otherwise not hear).

@aral @mackenzian

I am not arguing this should not be on Apple Podcast.

To me it's just a bit ironic to promote it here solely on BigTech. 😄

@voorstad Thank you for listening and sharing! I usually promote new episodes via the pod.link page and rotate mentions of specific platforms so folks can choose their own adventure: https://pod.link/1708625744

To that point, though, PodLink was recently bought by Spotify and it seems to have since been abandoned. That's a loss to us all, I think. And an example of how small and smaller tech can offer special benefits Big Tech isn't incentivized to.

@voorstad These are exactly the kinds of queries I hoped our show with @aral would help stimulate.

So again, thank you for the comment and interaction. All the best.
