#WritersCoffeeClub 7 Jan Epilogues? I love Codas. There is an ending of the immediate story, then a reflective piece set a little later which takes such of the story further as is not needed in the final chapter. Epilogue sounds a bit moralising and I prefer Coda. Particularly as my first book was called A Song for Cory.

#WritersCoffeeClub 7 Do you have an epilogue in any of your writing? How do you feel about them? I've been blurring the line between denouement and epilogue. The former takes place before the end of the story and the latter immediately after, but where to place that end point? I want to tie up loose ends and provide a small peek at the new normal, but I now believe that's all denouement. Epilogue feels like it could always begin with a structure like "20 years later..." Am I right?
