waaaay back in 1996, I made a track called ... Bonkbeat.

it's done in scream tracker 3. the s3m module is under 200k.

warning, bad mix, very basic stuff.

#IsItBonkWave #bonk #BonkWave #NoBonkWave

s3m files can be loaded in Renoise, now I'm thinking to do some 2024 reworks of my extremely old stuff... this bonkbeat is not at all bad as a potential to develop in sound and arrangement...
ok, renoise loads IT files. so S3m has to be loaded into schism tracker first
i should actually capture this as a video, ha

here's the whole track, err.. S3M module from 1996 playing in Schism Tracker

#UndergroundTrackerScene !! #NoBongWave

omg looking at it in Renoise (it has been able to reproduce it almost completely), I notice how we were able to create a 'pattern shuffle', by constantly changing the tick-per-line, woah.

this brings me down back to my own personal memories... damn, I was 19 and was just about to drop out of school at the time.

i was calling this project
"Deep Noise Exile"
can you imagine that?

and what is this?
a technotrance track in 7/4?
@luka I don't know but sounds like fun! 🙂
@luka This is rad. I’ve never gotten into trackers and making music that way. I really should give it a try.
@luka nice, when I tried to find out what tracker files I can import/export from one app to another found Schism a convenient multi-converter, by the way don’t know if you use iPhone, but there is this cool ios music app modizer that plays all sort of different music file formats, s3m is on the list too
@luka
thanks, this made my day 😍
