Anyone on #BikeTooter know an #ebike company that makes an e-bike that can actually stand up to the kind of abuse a commuter bike in New England endures? My poor Flyer just cannot keep up with the apparently endless rain, freeze-thaw cycles, and abundant salt life on Narragansett Bay provides
@moldybasil yikes! I’m guessing you’ve already contacted the company, because that’s seriously messed up? FWIW, I ride my Tern NBD in all kinds of weather & it’s held up well. It has Bosch electronics, which seem pretty sturdy. We don’t use salt on city streets in my area though, just occasionally brine.
@kimu yeah I've reached out in waiting to hear back. This bike just very clearly can't take the abuse I need it to. I've always got my Univega to fall back on but I'd like to know my e-bike is gonna work when I get outside no matter the weather
