@WTL I know what that feels like! My schedule when I worked forced me into running on the weekends to put the miles in, but I took 1 or 2 days off during the week.
The past week I wanted to finish up a couple of days early and ran 9 consecutive days at 4.5-5 miles each (peanuts for some) and boy, my legs enjoyed that Thursday rest! Yet I ran two runs 30” per mile faster at the tail end of that series. No wonder I’m exhausted now! But legs are ok, no niggles!
