There are three branches, dealing with creativity and the sign (covering morphosyntax and diachrony), creativity and interpretation (semantic, pragmatic, and representational aspects), and creativity and cognition (cognitive and psychological aspects).

CRC1646 - Universität Bielefeld

My own project, A01, co-PI-ed with Jutta Hartmann, deals with analogy in #morphosyntax and considers whether analogical processes can apply in larger units than words: we'll be investigating #Hungarian long-distance agreement and #German(ic) long-distance dependencies to study whether structures sharing surface and underlying properties can influence each other.
