While 90% of the #Fediverse is comiendo mierda talking about the useless topic of this new century: #Threads adopting the AP protocol...

Something more exciting is happening instead!

This gentleman @dimkr just realized a #Gemini front-end for #ActivityPub that supports #gopher, #fingers and #guppy as well.

This is just amazing, a real game changer, not all the crap around Threads!
Who cares about it? It's just #GAFAM doing the only thing they can do: GAFAM!

Now old and underpowered devices have their access points on the Fediverse, this can help people, I repeat: PEOPLE, not Meta, to come here in absence of good internet connection or recent hardware!

I hear from some that the #Web is bloated. I agree with them. One alternative we've got is maybe #Gemini and the other #Gopher. I have looked into the latter but not yet the first.
