@freemo @georgetakei I might be a little biased, but we (Germany) tried the moron fascist out. He was even in prison, but later he got into power. Partly conservatives thought they could control him. So I'd rather not see one of them in power again. In this case, there would not be a US to save the world from tyranny.
Im not sure Hitler was an idiot. Im not sure if he was super smart either. Its hard to tell when its just reciting speaches in another language. I just cant judge his intelligence.
@freemo @georgetakei This is hard to tell, but he certainly though of himself as a superior intellect whereas his book is rather an unstructured read. History usually does not repeat itself, but similar processes lead to similar results. Even with no war, there could be a lot of murder. Let's say, I'd rather not have to find out what happens when he becomes president again.

Matt McIrvin@georgetakei I've noticed that his fans are still insistent that he "only has a problem with ILLEGAL immigrants," even though his previous administration did its best to shut down most legal immigration.
Of course, they also define most asylum-seekers as "illegal immigrants". If all immigration they disapprove of is "illegal", then I guess they only have a problem with illegal immigrants.

They also used a code "C" to mark rental applications submitted by people of color, for purposes of denying housing, or steering applicants into Trump's preferred slums for minorities.
This evidence came to light in the HUD case against Fred Trump back in the late 1960s. The Trump company paid what was the largest civil penalty in history to date, for rampant, systemic housing discrimination.
