@Npars01 @georgetakei The Catch 22 is that we can’t stop it without a WWII level effort against fellow Americans. We’ll lose because no one is willing to fight by their rules.
We should have paid more attention when Christian nationalists were taking over school boards, city councils, and state legislatures under Gingrich/Falwell’s “Silent Majority.”

@Npars01 @georgetakei To quote Rachel Maddow, “The rule of law still applies, and we need to make sure we continue to support the rule of law.” She talks about times in our history when things happened that are similar to things that are happening now. It’s comforting to think that enough people cared then to speak up, vote, reject authoritarianism. The hope is that there are enough people now who also care.
