Can anybody recommend me the most indestructible, retractable #FountainPen?

Asking for a friend. (Seriously though.)

I gave him a retractable #Moonman and he fell in love with fountain pens, but he does heavy duty work and says he almost broke it in half already.

I'm gonna be that guy and say when I want a smooth writing experience with a retractable pen, I just use a gel pen.

I think trying to make a fountain pen retract is begging for trouble.

There are some half decent gel pens out there though.
