@ProPublica By "failing to prevent illegal transactions", I guess you mean "engaging in legal transactions despite the possibility of a purchaser reselling". Which isn't gun stores' fault or problem. They way you've framed this is really screwy.

It'll never stop amazing me how the gun nuts all squeal "but Chicago!" in "counterargument" to gun control, as if there are photon rays at state lines that evaporate guns from car trunks when passed through.
