@KydiaMusic I remember back when Aloe Blacc wrote that huge hit song with Aviccii and then went to court cause he only made like $400 or something after millions of streams. lol

It's insane how streaming companies get away with paying artists so laughably little, despite the artists being the entire reason anyone uses the platform to begin with.

@KydiaMusic If I wanted to tell a person to go fuck themselves I can’t think of a much better way to do it than send them a cheque for $16 dollars. It won’t even pay for the time lost going to a bank to deposit it.

@not2b yes today is a Bandcamp Friday! The new owners pledged to honor it through 2023, but I can’t recall if they promised to continue it beyond that. So this may be the last one! 😲

If an artist has download or physical media available. Which one gets you the most money?
