@pbump republicans have learned that insinuations are enough to feed conservative media and cause low information voters to at least wonder if there’s any fire under all of the smoke being blown
Most mainstream media (though not you) add to the problem through a both sides narrative and dutifully reporting what Republicans say rather than evaluating the evidence or providing context.
"Comer must know on some level this assertion is at least a stretch, if not willfully false. But consider why he made it the claim. He wants to show how serious and important the impeachment investigation is. If the probe can be shown as serious or important only by wildly misstating what it has uncovered, what does that suggest about the probe?"
