What to do if you can't find a Covid-safe dentist? I retested the Lisa Foreman nose-only ReadiMask hack with a full OSHA fit test. I wore it for over an hour before testing and still passed with the maximum possible N95 mode score of 200+. YMMV. Mask fit is very individual.

This is a potential mitigation tool for when you have no other options and need medical care where your mouth has to be exposed. It is not a general use mask hack. Breathing exclusively through your nose, even when your mouth is open, is possible, but doesn't work for everyone. Lots of caveats in the YouTube description.

I've considered a modified CPAP to keep the filter portion out of the dentist's way, with an added check valve, so I wouldn't be breathing my own exhalations. One might need to put a whisk ball inside the ReadiMask to keep it from collapsing.

I started assuming a Respironics Dreamwisp CPAP nose mask, as I like the way it routes the airhoses around the face out of the way. The "fit-pack" is pretty spendy, though. Probably cheaper ways to do this?

I ain't going to any restaurants anytime soon, but it seems like this might be a mitigation there, too?
