@nixCraft Well, even without the VPN, packets go through your ISP and whatever other hops to the destination. Arguably like this. With the VPN they first go through some kind of tunnel to the VPN through some number of hops then...

Actually, nevermind. I don't want to see a graphic representation of that.

@ids1024 @nixCraft the only difference is that you believe in random vpn providers are more trusted than your provider. Well, it's okay. Some people believe in flat earth or fairies or that bleach cures everything. Maybe you're right, but possibly you aren't. 😉
