Never forget, a 13-year study of a dozen cities found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for ALL ROAD USERS. And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all. Yes, maybe also Canada?- it’s painting a chevron arrow and a little bike on the road where cars go, and calling it good. “Share [the road] arrow” portmanteau. Both concept and word are about the most stupid things to happen in the history of cycling as transport that I know about. I did not like them one bit and I am v glad I survived long enough to get out!
