REI accused of widespread labor law violations at unionized US stores

REI, the camping and outdoor sports equipment retailer, was accused on Wednesday of dozens of violations of U.S. labor law at eight retail stores that have unionized since last year.

@stevenbodzin when my husband got laid off a few years ago he applied for an opening at REI, they offered him a job for $10/hour. I was shocked to learn how little they make there because everyone I've ever interacted with at REI is an outdoor gear expert. I hope wages have gone up since then.
