@heidilifeldman @Dahlialith I had a conversation with a member of the European Parliament today who is working on the DSA, and we both worried that it might become too late for the U.S. to have a similar legislation before polarisation destroys democracy in the U.S.

@supergrobi @heidilifeldman @Dahlialith “Polarisation” isn’t the problem! Thankfully our society has become so when half of our 2-party system turned to fascism. JFC “polarisation,” in this case, is what comes of a righteous, courageous, moral resistance by the segment of humanity that hopes to stand against a descent into madness. The other option is a “unified”fascist capitulation.

Of course both sides believe to fight for a righteous cause, however stupid that might seem from our side of the trench

While “radical-left thugs that live like vermin” is getting all the press, I think it’s important to note that “will do anything possible, whether LEGALLY OR ILLEGALLY, to destroy America and the American dream.” is important as well. #trump is promising that he has no intention of being constrained by the rule of law.
