Update: They brought it back in a subsequent update. May have been a mistake that it was gone at all.
I went looking to confirm I'm not crazy and that there definitely *was* a big prominent search bar in the Microsoft Store app up until this latest version, and yeah...every old screenshot shows it.
The decision to remove it, forcing you to use the OS-native Bing Copilot Smart AI bullshit just to find an app...is certainly a decision.
