Learning and practicing new skills.

Some of the BFMedical team are in #Malta this week, training with the College of Remote and Offshore Medicine, for their Remote Emergency Medical Technician (REMT) qualification.

Six days of intensive practical training, to augment the online theory aspect of the course.

@blackflagmedical I attended their Austere and Pre-hospital Ultrasound course earlier this year.

Amazing faculty with a huge amount of knowledge to share!

Austere and Prehospital Ultrasound (APUS) – CoROM

@kieran_smith It's been a good week so far, but pretty intensive. Learned a lot in a great learning environment.
@blackflagmedical How did your team get on?

@kieran_smith

Yeah great! We all passed the skills test on the final day.

Came away feeling like we'd learned some excellent practical skills. Real scenarios, where possible on real people rather than mannequins.

Can recommend this course with #CoROM, but be prepared to get stuck in, do the pre-course online study to make things a lot easier and then maintain focus during the six days of practical in #Malta.
