戰術戰傷救護（Tactical Combat Casualty Care，後簡稱為 TCCC）是一套美軍專為戰場環境打造的急救體系，是有史以來預防戰死、戰傷最有效的措施。

TCCC 最特別的地方，當然就是同時考量「戰術」與「急救」，將適當的救護流程整合進部隊的戰術流程中。簡單來說，就是邊打邊想辦法救人。

在濫殺事件頻繁出現的美國，這股壓力也促使其在兩千年左右發展出民用版本 TECC（Tactical Emergency Casualty Care，戰術緊急傷患照護）。TCCC 人員就是軍警戰術單位本身，TECC 人員則是跟著戰術單位進入現場的急救人員；除此之外，兩者訓練內容的差異並不大。

A very nice demonstration video about how to effectively pack a wound with a bleeding artery, using z-fold gauze.

Pressure has to be applied directly to the bleeding artery, to stop the bleed, not just pack the cavity full of gauze.

While #haemostatic #gauze is great, if you don't have it available normal gauze will also do a good job. Multiple gauze packages may be needed.
