Agreed. Twitter was a huge pyramid scheme, that ran for over a decade, taking from later investors to pay previous investors, and in a very unprecedented turn of events, one person at the bottom ended up making the whole pyramid walk away in profit.
I think it is historically one of a kind.
Apparently now it is going to be a bank where you can get a date.
#It's been like a #BigGame of #PassTheParcel; except that #SpaceKarenX has been left #Holding the #TickingTimeBomb...

Although there is a narrative that Twitter is influential in global movements, I don't believe it is as it is exaggerated as it is being made out. I was in Istanbul during the Gezi period and Twitter was basically DNS blocked the whole time, yet the western narrative was that it was somehow having a big impact.
The other side of this coin is, other than the infamy, Twitter gains nothing from it. It doesn't convert monetarily or otherwise.
I think it's the myth behind the valuation
I mean, UBER does the same, but it is doing it to beat out competition. That is normally the point.
For over a decade Twitter did it and still lost to TikTok / Snapchat etc.
The only mark has only ever really been investors.

Our CEO this morning told us that space karen is a genius because he'd secretly bought the bird site purely to train his new LLM by getting unfettered access to twitter's feed, thereby making it the most up-to-date and therefore best 'AI' so far, and this, QED, justified *everything*.
Raised eyebrows.
