Canada had our worst fire season ever recorded this year.

Australia's fire season is just starting and it is devastating.

The scale of fires in NW Australia is an area bigger than Western Europe has been on fire at some point over the last 6 weeks.

Stay safe down under.

The man-made climate breakdown is 1000 times more costly than getting off fossil fuels.

The time for talking has long past. We need to move quickly to transition. Canada has a lot of work to do on this front.

@MeanwhileinCanada @_L1vY_ And the ecosysytems collapse is happening right now as well. . My blog describes how SAI can cool the earth in 2 years and keep temperature steady even if CO2 keeps rising.
Risks are many times smaller than impact #climatechange and manageable

Please read the blog before you disagree
And sorry, its very long and thorough

Stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI) can cool the world in two years: we need a treaty to stop climatechange - Economic Capitalism Revolt To Save this Earth

#canada is an #oil company. We're ramping **up** on #oil and #gas projects, not down. #RCMP arrest and harass #journalists covering #pipeline protests and #corrupt #police.

This country won't do anything until the money runs out, we burn to death, or WE MAKE THEM.

@MeanwhileinCanada it's all very concerning and it now seems like action will not happen. On a positive note I think seaweed is a possible solution with the added bonus that it won't go on fire whilst reducing CO2 ppm if only saying it was enough. I also like the flavour of seaweed and whilst I do like wood I don't cook with it. #madmax #seaweed #ohlookwedestroyedtheplanet

@MeanwhileinCanada

Pretty sad state of affairs. No one’s even talking about Acapulco and that’s the equivalent and then some of the Las Vegas Strip being totally destroyed in mere minutes.

So it’s not like they care about Canada or Australia becoming fire and smoke filled hellholes either.

Does anyone even remember at this point AQI air pollution quality index in New York City topped out extremely hazardous to all at 500 the scale goes no higher and that was because of Canadian wild fires?

@MeanwhileinCanada this map is kind of misleading. Those fires in the north west are not a major concern because that part of the world is at the end of it's fire season - the dry season. That country is about to get soaked for the next 6 months.

The fires of concern at the moment are the ones down in the south west corner, near Perth:

Bushfire emergency: Lives at risk as blazes rage in Barragup, Pickering Brook, North Dandalup

A playground is in flames as another major bushfire has broken out in Piara Waters as firefighters scramble to fight blazes across the southern suburbs.

The West Australian
@MeanwhileinCanada Already this year 80% of the Northern Territory (AU) has burned. Surviving native wildlife have vastly reduced survival chances, and the sacred Cattle Industry there suddenly confronts a massive fodder problem.
@MeanwhileinCanada
It's not over in Canada. Still well over 200 wildfires burning in BC in November with many of them out of control!

@MeanwhileinCanada it's not the cost. Everyone knows the cost. It's about who pays it.

@MeanwhileinCanada Thank you for noticing, Canada. We also felt for Canadians over the past year. We know what it's like. 🇦🇺🇨🇦

Our government is likewise culpable.

@MeanwhileinCanada @phall715 Ah fuck. All summer there was a part of me thinking about this. That it won’t end, it’ll just move to the southern hemisphere. I hate being right.
@MeanwhileinCanada
Have you considered that much, if not the majority, of the climate alarmism is being weaponized against us to push the agenda 2030 / sustainable development goals? That perhaps us a human beings are not as responsible for what were seeing as what we are being told?
@MeanwhileinCanada Canada has one of the smallest "carbon footprints" out of most, if not all, developed nations. Why don't we see the biggest offenders taking action? What's our contribution going to achieve and at what cost to Canadians?
