did the bubble burst? or is this a seasonal pattern that just didn't emerge in prior years?

@andrewvandam

Hoping for the former, guessing it's the latter. We're still seeing pickleball courts being incorporated into new / rehabbed parks near us.

@andrewvandam I doubt this statistic from my own observations. I am in 3 groups in 2 states and the have all grown exponentially even this year.
@andrewvandam If you like pickle ball, wait until you try tennis! 🎾

@andrewvandam
Some possibilities.
1) the bubble burst
2) penetration has reached a level that paddles are easily obtainable (Target, Dick’s, Amazon)
3) market saturation , i.e. the necessary information about paddles is available elsewhere
4) Google has a problem

No idea what the truth is, but a quick rise & fall is not unusual for any “entertainment” . It doesn’t mean collapse is inevitable, but sometimes it does. Come back in 2 years.

@andrewvandam Or does everyone who is interested in pickleball already own a paddle, and if you can't sell people something the whole concept might as well be dead.
