I’m sorry my friends @jsnell and @imyke felt the need to explain why Apple compares new chips/Macs to Intel. In the academic/corporate world, lots of peeps are on four -year or more Upgrade cycles. These compares are like the promise of free food in the break room to some of us.
@Shelly@jsnell@imyke I'm still on a 2020 Intel mac mini and I use it for development. It's fine. Although, I'm tempted by the performance per watt numbers. Getting nearly double the runtime out of my UPS would be pretty sweet.
