I'm always surprised when vendors still don't put pricing on their webpages and just have a "contact us for a demo!" button.

It's been a rule for YEARS now: if you don't show the pricing, we all assume it's a bajillion dollars and go look at someone else.

@castillar my favorite is when you can use the product for free, but they lock one critical feature (usually OIDC/LDAP support) behind their open-core model. Usually features that they obviously implement with free software, but they want to find some corporation willing to pay a huge bill.
