#Hebrew readers, what does this say?

(I’m still learning)

@wardrup "Koakh, koakh, tirdof" - Koakh is strength/power, and 'tirdof' is 'you will/shall pursue'.

"Strength, strength, you shall pursue", if I'm not reading it wrong?

@tjcasser that makes sense. It’s a powerlifting shirt that is a benefit for Magen David Adom.

Thank you!

@wardrup That's awesome. That's up there with my shirt from the Israel Baseball federation (which has an obvious Orthodox Jew with a tallit on it, swinging a bat, emblazoned with 'JEW CREW').

The best fundraising shirts are slightly cheeky.

@wardrup BTW, I think you're under obligation now to tell us all where to buy this wonderous shirt.

שבת שלום!

@tjcasser @wardrup

Presumably a satiric use of the quote to criticize those who value and pursue power over justice?

Kinda weird.

@imstilljeremy I think it’s just straightforward. It’s on a shirt designed for powerlifters.

It’s a benefit for Magen David Adom and I wanted to make sure it didn’t say anything off color before paying for it.

@wardrup it's riffing on Deuteronomy 16:20
צדק, צדק תרדוף
Justice, justice you shall pursue
@wardrup
it's a play on
צדק צדק תרדוף
Justice, justice shall you pursue
but instead of justice, power.
