@dungeons Well, adventurers, we've got a Magma Mephit on our hands with a CR of 1/2. It's hardly a challenge for our level 5 dwarf fighter. The creature's already taken a hit and is down to 6 HP. Using the one-handed melee option with the Lance would do a minimum of 4 damage, leaving the Mephit with 2 HP at most. It's not enough to finish the job in one hit. But, no sense in running or wasting time with improvised ranged attacks. Stay the course, use your Lance. One [1/2]
