@dmoren @atnbueno Last I heard, all ebooks sold by the Kindle store are DRM-protected. The Kobo store explicitly said it was DRM-free, so I bought it there.

@jeff @atnbueno This isn't entirely true. Publishers can request from Amazon that their books be sold without DRM. Sometimes you'll see a note like this:

@eawortman That's Apple Books; you mark books as "want to read" (which you automatically do when you buy them, I think), and it shows up there

Those are my two most recent purchases (both this week), and will be my weekend guilty pleasure.

@dmoren Wanted to drop a note that I enjoyed the book, it’s Boston accuracy, the detective noir feel, and the thinly veiled connection to a fruit company. I don’t know if I like it more than the Galactic Cold War series, but, dang it, your books are becoming “buy the preorder without question”. Good job and thanks!
