I recently finished a new piece, called โ€œSkรถrโ€ (Swedish for fragile).
@mesterspets
Beautiful! โค๏ธ
@mesterspets
U sure "Skรถr" does not translate into "scary"? ๐Ÿ˜˜
@tropenfisch nej. And if you find this scary, I am sorry to inform you that there is one inside you - right at this very moment! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ’€
@mesterspets
But mine is not as nicely knit (or what would you say for the technique?)!

@tropenfisch and hopefully less fragile ๐Ÿฅฐ

(Youโ€™d call this lacemaking, as there are several techniques involved. Alas none of them are knitting, but there is crochet)

@tropenfisch
It means both. That's the beauty ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
@mesterspets
@mesterspets That's definately a piece of art!
@mesterspets This is very, very awesome. I love skeletons, and this one is just fabulous. Nice work!
@mesterspets

How did you set its shape?
@YourGodSatan I had a Halloween decoration and sewed it into place around that, then starched it on top and let it dry and harden.
@mesterspets
Works in Danish too (means crazy)
@ami not really the intended message, but Danes are gonna dane I guess. #interpretation

@Selena

@mesterspets I love the use of a different shade for the teeth!
@mesterspets omg this is so right up my alley. Just beautiful.
@mesterspets Wow! I love the combination of a morbid skull and delicate lace. Great contrast.
