The crab situation in the eastern Bering Sea continues to be bad, and climate change plus ocean acidification seem to be emerging as culprits. It's not clear what kind of harvest will be allowed there in the coming year, if any. We'll learn that soon, after the Alaska Department of Fish and Game fully analyzes the numbers and all the factors involved.
