What a day today on Mastodon!
I am just blown away by all the awesome feedback, discussion, suggestions, helpful tips, welcomes and introductions so many of you have shared with me today. I've tried to stay on top of every single one of them!
I also got to follow a lot of really intriguing folks posting some really great content, thoughts, links, photos and videos here. I'm sure there'll be dozens of new accounts to check out tomorrow!

Not a suggestion, more of a beg, grovel, plead... any chance of breathing some kind of life into the forum, user reviews? Where it all started for me... the memory lingers on
I found a Snow Peak hand grinder display item at less than a third of the original price so of course had to have it.
The amount of heat it puts out is a bit disturbing, though I suppose it can be argued that the metal tube is doing a good job of conducting the heat away from the coffee.
It grinds finer than I am used to - I always use a stove top device - but the results speak for themselves. There is an intense flavour burst.
