gigaherz@dizzy I wouldn't care/mind if mastodon actually hid/blurred/collapsed the image.... but it apparently doesn't, so now I have NSFW right in front of my mastodon feed.
I wonder if it's some limitation / issue with mastodon itself, or if the image hasn't been properly tagged. Cos I definitely have it set to hide sensitive media in the settings.
Oh I notice now there's two of those posts. one of them has the image shown, the other does not.

@gigaherz okay no, i see now. Your instance seems to be misconfigured somehow. It even shows the little "hide" icon but it defaults to showing hidden media unhidden
@gigaherz the weirdest part is, it *is* hiding the text by default. but it's showing the media, just with the "click to hide this" button, toggled the wrong way around to how it should by standard be.

@dizzy Spoke to the instance admin. They are looking into it.
@dizzy Welp apparently so far as this instance was concerned, you did not flag it as NSFW. The admin manually flagged it and now it gets properly hidden. I wonder if it's a compatibility issue between has-no.solutions and this instance. your site is not mastodon but rather some other ActivityPub software, IIRC? or am I brainfarting?

@dizzy Anyhow it's fine. If this keeps happening I might just have to consider mastodon itself NSFW cos if I follow enough people there's bound to be others that share nsfw content. Not your fault.
