Do you know of any research that looks at how people in tech get jobs (through websites, work acquaintances, friends, etc)? I'm also looking for data on how people work their way up the ranks - is it through switching jobs or staying with the same company for a long time?

@ashedryden Take account of company size: you can up your rank only by switching job, when you are in a little place with 2 employees 😅
