Givien the prices of fresh veggies (driven by greed at this point), the pleasure of #gardening, the lack of a real market within walking distance (endemic in the US), I am thinking of putting in an nice raised bed similar to that pictured (that’s not my yard!) next year.

@tneoini I suggest to make the raised beds not too big. You wanna be able to reach into the middle comfortably from each side to pull weeds or plant or harvest etc. I don't know if a big bed as in the picture is the most practical choice for vegetable gardening. But whatever works well for you. Just get started. Wish you all the best!
