And no I do not as mobile games and PC’s have different builds and approaches. Stop comparing apples to oranges. Counterstrike is a valve-produced PC shooter that is hardly cutting edge visually. The steam deck is a modern low-mid spec PC. I expect it to play there, especially as it’s their IP. Everything else they make does.

Steamdeck is not a “mobile device” the way people typically use it. I know you were going to argue that “it technically is“ or whatever, but that is not what people mean by mobile device. You’re oversimplifying it and you know it. Is a fully functional PC that can also go handheld. It is not a game boy. It is not a DS.
I have played much more visually demanding games on my steam deck at 45 to 60 FPS consistently. Valve dropped the ball, there’s no other way to look at it. So stop putting words in my mouth and over interpreting what I am saying. For instance, I literally never said anything remotely akin to “everything should play on every device.” That is a strawman of your making and an absolutely absurd assertion. Nobody would stand behind that claim.
How is any of that relevant to a company feint able to design games for what they want…?

Sure you can’t compare it to a two thousand dollar PC with top of the line hardware, but it’s plenty capable, affordable and you can take it anywhere. They’re fucking awesome and have made PC gaming accessible to lots of people
