Based on the number of SMS messages I get from various GOP/republicans begging for money, I am guessing things are not going so well.

@jerry I used to get a lot of those, and like a good boy I reported them as junk without opening them, blocked the number, reported them to our own internal researchers, etc, etc, but they just kept coming.

Then, after a particularly offensive one, I unleashed a profanity-filled scathing condemnation in a reply, telling them exactly where they could stick their fascist agenda. (Those who know me would raise an eyebrow at that, as that kind of outburst is out of character.) I haven’t gotten another one since. 🤨🤷‍♂️

@thomasareed @jerry (this is also why I always vote by mail now, to avoid having the propaganda literally shoved in my face as I walk into the polls… That 50’ limit is totally useless, at least here in Virginia, since they just pounce at 51 feet….)

@darthnull @thomasareed perhaps one of the good parts of living where I do is that there aren’t enough people voting to warrant the parties sending people to polling places. So I’ve never seen that here

My oldest son used to get those, both SMS and emails, until he started responded to them in . . . shall we say, "colorful" ways. They stopped. 😂
