Has any of you participated in the event and is it worth it? Also, I'm not sure I won't be overwhelmed by the 20K other runners as I'm mainly a trail runner 🙈

@riaschissl @running I haven’t run in this particular race, but have attended, and still want to do it.
It’s a very popular run, and you get to traverse some of Chicago’s beautiful lakefront while taking in the majesty of the architecture.
I can’t really speak to how you’ll handle the crowd, but my experience with other local runs is that the community is very friendly and welcoming, whether you want to make friends, or just run alone in a crowd, all are welcome.
